But for the time being, their findings had not been able to bring up anything concrete as regards the possible cause of a blind pimple.
Be that as it may, some unconfirmed reports have shown that this kind of pimple can be caused by certain hormonal imbalance in the human body. This hormonal imbalance we are talking about leads to a situation whereby the sebaceous gland in the human skin secretes more oil than it should normally do. Because of this, the sebaceous gland increases in size. Swollen bumps do result from this kind of situation. If the swollen bumps have a colored head, it is called a normal pimple. But if there is no colored head to the bump, it is then referred to as a blind pimple.
It is important to note that a pimple can always come around to forming a head. Nothing should be done about it until a head is formed. If you have one now and you are planning to squeeze it or poke a sharp object into it, you will not be doing your self any good. You may end up getting an infection through this means. There is also the possibility of you causing damage to your skin. By the time the damage is taken care of, you will be left with a disfiguring scar on your skin.
You can however manage your blind pimple by performing hot compression on it. Soak a washcloth inside hot water and squeeze out the excess water. You can then press the warm washcloth against the blind pimple on your skin.
